When Nothing Works Like I Thought It Would

There are times when it all just falls apart.  I know I’m not alone with this, because I hear it from clients. friends, family, and from people in the grocery line.  When that happens, it’s discouraging.  Despite my usual upbeat attitude, by Friday I am feeling truly dejected.

See, most of the time, I am able to shift gears and meet things head-on.  If I have to reschedule something, I do it and move on.  If I have to wait, I use the time for something else.  If one thing falls through, I go to the next.  And so on.  I’m in motion.  I keep going.

But this week?  It was too many things changing too fast and falling apart faster than I could fix them.  There were things I need to process and think through, and I didn’t have time available for it.  There were disappointments, both in what I expected and in how in some cases I fell short of my own performance goals.

For instance, I signed up for the 30 Day Blogging Challenge with every intention to complete my goals.  But I only made it half way.  And I’m disappointed about that.

All told?  A cr*ppy week!

But you know what?  One thing I know from experience.  Two, actually.

1)  Nothing is permanent.  Not the “good” and neither the “bad.”  The only constant is change.  And boy, do we have CHANGE!

2) What I am feeling will pass.  I will take time to process what I need, and plan for what has changed.

One thing that’s working in my favor is that I have access to all the flower essences I want.  I’m going to take one of my special formulas called Get Me Outta The Funk to help with this situation.  In fact, it’s times like these that it’s made for.  Thank goodness for the flowers!

Now, I’m looking forward to letting go of the week, having some fun on the weekend ahead, giving myself a little TLC and rest.  I know that next week is going to be different ~ and probably better.  If you are feeling challenged lately, with various kinds of stressors, you might find an ally in flower essences too.  Check them out on my other blog Dances With Flowers or on these web sites:  Bright Wings Essences and Flower Essences For Animals.
