In 2011, we will experience four dates that are very unusual, as well as eleven months’ worth of days with the number 11 in it — which has additional meaning, as I’ll point out in a moment.  I want to thank Linda Miller for originally reminding me of this, and for the fun little math puzzle at the end.  Do read on for that 🙂

Many Interesting dates in 2011

First of all, here are the dates that are unique to this year and this year alone:

1/1/11

1/11/11

11/1/11

11/11/11 (a powerhouse day if ever there was one!)

Two of these dates have already passed, and it will be near the end of the year before we encounter the last two.  But between now and then, each month will contain another “11” date, each carrying its own message for us.  Before I get into that, though, I want to point you to a post I made earlier about the significance of 11:11 — and why you might want to pay attention to it.  That post is here and I recommend you read it first.  (The link opens a new page so you don’t have to worry about losing your place 🙂 )

All right, then, let’s take a look at the significance of the number 11 as it shows up in your life.  First of all, it’s a spiritual number.  When you see it, you will often be prompted to look higher for answers, wherever you are or whatever is going on.  It works best if you intend that when you see it, you will automatically think about your Higher Power or the Divine/Source for inspiration or guidance.  It’s a call to remember that you are a spark of Divine Intelligence, regardless of whether you are always conscious of it or not.  The number 11 calls you to become conscious and aware of your connection with Source.

Secondly, the power of the number is the combination, side by side, of the 1 and 1.  Rather than adding 1 and 1 to make 2, the power is magnified when they are side by side, in tandem.  Walk with Spirit by your side, consciously and aware, and you are exponentially more powerful in your thought, word, and actions; what you are able to manifest if also magnified.  Just saying.

And finally, the number 11 — which you encounter twice daily and once hourly on the clock — calls you to realize your ability to be in perfect harmony with Universal Laws of co-creation.  It’s wonderful that we all have the opportunity to be reminded of it.  Now that you know what it’s for. how will YOU use the number 11 — and the 11:11 — in your life this year?  I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Each month this year I’ll be discussing the significance of the 11th day of the month as it comes; this is a powerhouse year numerologically — and, while I’m NOT a numerologist, I am certainly aware of the power of sound and vibration, through both words and numbers.  Energy is expressed in form.  Words and numbers are part of what gives them power.

Now, are you ready for a fun little (easy!!) math exercise?  This is one of the other unusual features of this year and it’s kind of cool.  Take the last 2 digits of the year you were born, plus the age you WILL be this year — and add them together.  Did you come up with 111?  Try in on your age (the one you WILL be after your birthday in 2011) and date of birth.  This is a very special year indeed!

Please share this post with others — they will get a kick out of it too!
