Nature and Protection, the Universal Laws Series ~ 9:11

As the 10th anniversary of 9/11 approaches, people are focusing on many things.  This post takes a different view, from a very unique perspective:  Universal and Spiritual Laws.  This month, we visit the 9th in a series of Universal and Spiritual Laws.  This one is about Nature and Protection, two themes very prominent and timely.

The 11:11 phenomenon has puzzled people since it first started appearing. this year Universal Laws are being highlighted in 2011, to assist in the major shift we are all making in consciousness and in how we perceive reality. 2011 is a big year for this and other reasons. Septemberis the next month in a year-long series of dates that reveal more about the Universal Laws and their correspondence to the Spiritual Laws that govern us all. Here is the link to the first post of 2011 about this topic, and to one of my other blogs (yes, I have several. . . ) where I first wrote about the 11:11 Laws.

The Universal Law of 9:11 is the Universal Law of Nature ~ the Spiritual Law that corresponds to it is The Spiritual Law of Protection of Man.  Nature is the force that creates form within the dimensions.  Man is the force that create ideas.  Together, nature and human beings co-create the world.  Humans (as well as all life forms) are to be protected.

I have a feeling that this month we are going to see more than ever before an emphasis on how Nature and humans must work co-operatively together, for the very survival of both.  This theme is a powerful reminder that there ARE both Universal and Spiritual Laws, and that we fail to respect them at our own peril.  These Laws are intended for the good of all Life; it is only through their mis-use that we see harm.

Over several centuries, Western civilization in particular has failed to recognize the co-creative connections between Nature and humans.  Some have come to see Nature as a force to be “subdued”.  (Guess how well THAT’s worked out???)

I will definitely have more to say about this set of Laws in the near future, as not only is it a subject close to my heart but also it is something I have studied for decades.  In fact, I will soon be teaching some classes about this, and offering ways for people to explore this topic in more depth and in experiential ways.  If you are not already on my email list, please do sign up so that you can get the announcements when we’re ready.

The fact is, both Nature and humans are born of Source.  (How could we forget that?  Yet we seem to have done so.)   While the Spiritual Law states that humans have the right to protect themselves, it was never implied that this right was meant to be exercised with Nature and humans as opponent!s  Far from it!  Nature is the ally and co-operative partner with humans, in developing a world of ideal form and function.

Perhaps the first step to take would be to stop thinking that Nature is the problem; human attitudes are.  We have a long way to go, to return to a true partnership with Nature, but there is still time and it is still how the Universe wants it to be.  Nature is not the half of the equation that has gone off track; it is humans who need to uphold our half of the bargain in respectful ways.

So, if Nature is not what humans need to protect themselves from, what is?  Other humans, of course 🙂  Humankind does have the right to protect itself from threats to survival as well as the lesser threats to happiness, peace of mind, self-determination, and so on.  Nature fully supports us in this as in all things — so long as humankind refrains from attempting to “run the show” without benefit of the sacred partnership that was always intended with Nature by our side.

In addition, a “hidden” meaning of the Spiritual Law of Protection of Man is that both Nature and humans, in their inherent respect for all Life, should take care of and protect all other life forms.  It is easy to see how far from this Spiritual Law modern culture has taken us.  While it may seem like an impossible journey back — a veritable Pandora’s box with which to deal — one has to begin somewhere.  And it begins with us.  You.  Me.  Our attitudes and behaviors.

Either we are living in accord with these Laws, or we are not.  It is relatively simple to tell if we are in accord or not; if we are not, then we know what to do.  It is clear how we must change.  The decision, as always, is ours to make — as individuals, and as a collective consciousness.  Will we?

We have a better chance to do so, once we understand what the Universal Laws are — and how they impact us as well as everyone and everything else.  Studying them helps us to restore the broken pieces, to begin anew, and to return to harmony even after the long dark shadows of difficulties have damaged us and our world in challenging ways.

You will definitely be hearing more about this topic in future, as there is nowhere near enough space in a blog post to cover it all, even in passing.

For now, let me just note that recent earth changes have pointed quite clearly to the urgency of the need to restore our right relationship with Nature as soon as we possibly can.  Storms, earthquakes, and volcanic eruptions are how the Earth is attempting to cleanse and restore balance and health.  Humans would do well to adopt a bit of humility — and attempt to learn how to help, rather than continue practices and thought forms that lead to destructive results for a living planet or any living being.

Finally, I just want to mention that if you are working on personal growth in the area of self development and consciousness, you might like to explore that in the company of other like-minded people.  The Consciousness Cafe has just been launched — and you might feel right at home over there.  I’d like to invite you to join us.

Your thoughts about this?  Let’s discuss it.
