I don’t usually do this.
I tend to keep my head down, do the work, and share things once they’re finished and ready to stand on their own. But every once in a while, it feels right to pull the curtain back for a moment and let a few people see what’s taking shape while it’s taking shape.
So consider this a brief, behind-the-scenes peek into my workshop — the real one, not the polished version. Notes on the table. Ideas half-assembled. Mug of hot tea nearby.
Here’s what I’ve been spending my time on, and what I’m actively shaping for the year ahead:
- I’m continuing to roll out the rest of the Healing the Wanting series — a long arc of 16 books that all build on the same core question, from different angles, at different depths.
- Alongside that, I’m focused on finding better ways to bring the HTW message to a wider audience, because the themes it works with — dignity, desire, stability, self-trust — feel increasingly urgent in the world we’re living in.
- I’m designing and hosting workshops and trainings meant to help people stabilize faster — practical, usable spaces that draw directly from HTW tools and principles, without requiring a long runway.
- Through Bright Wings Press, I’m bringing out new titles that expand and deepen ideas introduced in earlier books — not repeats, but evolutions.
- I’m working on integrating the Soul Mechanic’s Garage more fully with the HTW body of work, so the concepts translate cleanly into lived, day-to-day application.
- I’m also developing the first-year curriculum for the Soul Path Academy, with HTW likely serving as a grounding framework rather than a side note.
- And finally, I’m staying intentionally available to create new programs in response to how the world shifts, as it shifts, rather than locking myself into plans that make sense today but miss the moment tomorrow.
That’s the honest snapshot. No packaging. No rollout language. Just what’s actually on the table right now.
One thing I want to name plainly: I can’t promise this will unfold exactly the way I’m imagining it today. The cosmos is in too much flux for that, and pretending otherwise has never worked out well for me. What I can say is that my aim is to stay responsive, not reactive — to track how the energies move, where pressure builds, and what’s actually needed when it matters most.
That way, when something does emerge, it’s because the timing is right — not because a calendar said so.
I don’t share my process like this very often. If you’re reading, it’s because I value your attention and wanted you to glimpse the work mid-build, just for a moment.
Back to the workshop now.
Warmly,
Nancy
P.S. One more thing I want to say out loud. Even though my attention and commitment are on my own work right now, the reason I’m doing any of this at all is because of you. This was a glimpse inside my world — but it isn’t all about me.
I care deeply about what’s happening with you too. About the things that light you up, and the things that are hitting you hard. If you ever feel like sharing, please know you’re welcome to.
If you’re inclined, send me a note with one thing that’s on your heart right now. I read every message, and when I can, I respond — sometimes directly, sometimes by letting what you share shape what I write next for everyone.
