Help me change how we deal with our personal and collective wanting.

Yes, I know — it’s the Friday before Christmas week.

People are packing bags, closing laptops, shifting into travel mode, family mode, celebration mode. There’s a very real desire to put business, heaviness, and big questions on pause for a bit.

That makes complete sense.

And… wanting doesn’t take the week off.

Soft, shimmering silver-blue background with subtle light motion and large text reading, “If it were obvious, it wouldn’t be the problem.”

If it were obvious, it wouldn’t be the problem.
This is why clarity matters — especially right now.

In fact, it tends to get louder right now — around money, expectations, family dynamics, generosity, resentment, obligation, comparison, and the quiet pressure to make everything “feel right.”

Most of the time, it doesn’t even feel like wanting.  It just sounds sensible.

That’s the work I’ve been devoted to for a long time: learning how to notice what’s shaping our choices before it quietly runs the show — personally and collectively.

Not to perfect ourselves.
To change how we handle wanting—personally and together.

Because clarity changes things — in conversations, in relationships, in how we spend our energy, and in how we show up for one another during moments like this.

This matters to you.
And it matters to the world.

Here are real ways you can help make a difference:

– Buy the Healing the Wanting Trilogy
– Gift it to someone who’s carrying too much (including yourself)
– Share this message with someone who needs the distinction
– Invite this work into your own community in 2026
– Begin noticing what feels urgent this week — and what feels true

2026 will bring its own challenges and opportunities.
But this moment is calling now — quietly, insistently.

If this resonates, I’d love you to stand with me in it.
