Choosing Coherence When Life Isn’t Cooperating

Painterly image of a weathered wooden signpost with three blank arrows beside a winding path, set in a soft, golden landscape suggesting choice and uncertainty.

Sometimes the path isn’t labeled. You’re still allowed to walk it.

This week has been… a lot.

I made all my medical appointments (which feels like an accomplishment all by itself), but between travel time, waiting rooms, and logistics, I lost more than half the week just getting to things and back.

We also stepped in to help with an emergency cat-sitting situation — feed & play. (If you’ve ever been unexpectedly recruited into caring for someone else’s cat, you know exactly what that entails.)

And then I received news about my friend Suzanne’s memorial service. That made everything feel more real, and more tender.

The good news: I did make meaningful progress. I started formatting Book Four in the Healing the Wanting series and anchored the cover framework for the rest of the series — which matters more than it sounds.

Still, I miss being in touch with you.

I don’t want to build a body of work that pretends life isn’t happening. I’m a human being creating, grieving, tending responsibilities, and continuing forward — sometimes one grounded breath at a time.

I plan to start sharing short videos regularly again soon, once things settle a bit, and I wanted you to know that.

In the meantime, I want to extend a gentle invitation.

The Soul Mechanics Circle is not a learning program. It’s an ongoing space for people who want to stay connected to what’s real — the hard moments, the meaningful moments, and the quietly transformative ones — without pressure to perform or conform.

We don’t promote a single path here. It’s open, exploratory, and grounded in lived experience. If and when I come across opportunities I genuinely believe would serve you, I’ll share them — but the Circle itself is about being human, together.

If that kind of space feels supportive, you’re welcome to join us.

This is how we get through full weeks, tender seasons, and changing lives — together.
